Kingswood

What did you do this half term?

We had fun and adventure……..

kingswood1 kingswood-3

During half term ten students, following the Prince’s Trust curriculum had the opportunity to shine. They also completed some of the sections of the Sports Leaders Award. Along with a few tears, there was laughter, fun and bravery shown. Students had the opportunity of trying their hand at:
•    Fencing
•    Abseiling
•    Rock climbing
•    The leap of faith
•    Jacobs ladder
•    Archery

There were many other activities but these were the firm favourites. This week taught the students many things, from supporting and working well with each other to companionship and being compassionate towards those who struggled with various activities.

The staff who went all really enjoyed themselves, so a big thank you to them – Mrs Blundell, who organised it all, Mr Brooks, who took all the pictures and Miss Hollis, who did ALL the activities no matter how dirty she got!
