Our Behaviour Code
At Oriel we have high expectations of all members of the college. We believe that all students have the right to learn in a positive and safe environment. We also understand that students need a supportive and caring environment that provides everyone an opportunity to learn. The behaviour policy of the college reflects this vision.
We have a stepped intervention approach to behaviour that ensures we deal with any incident immediately. This ensures all students understand our expectations and the consequences of their actions.
We also provide support for students to ensure any issues that arise are dealt with in a confidential and positive way. We aim to give all students the opportunity to learn and the support is based around helping students access this.
Our behaviour policy is based on the Norfolk County Council guidelines and ensures all students are given the best care, support and learning that can be provided.
