Our Dress Code
All students must wear the prescribed college uniform. The Oriel uniform gives our students a smart appearance that demonstrates a unity and cohesion within our college community. Our students are proud to be at Oriel and the uniform is a key part of our identity.
Lower School (Year 7, 8, 9)
- Plain black trousers or knee length skirt designed for college.
- Plain white polo shirt, with or without Oriel logo.
- Burgundy sweatshirt.
- Black shoes not trainers.
School (Year 10, 11)
- Plain black trousers or knee length skirt designed for college.
- Black jacket, or plain black sweatshirt, with or without Oriel logo.
- White school shirt tucked in – tie must be worn with long sleeved shirt.
- Black shoes not trainers.
Piercings
One small stud in ears. No tongue or facial piercings including ‘retainers’. If a student is wearing a facial piercing they will be asked to remove it, and parents will be contacted to ask for their support in ensuring this happens.
