The Oriel Means Business (OMB) project aims to develop a mutually beneficial cooperation between businesses and Oriel Specialist Mathematics and Computing College. We see ourselves as a hub for the community where we not only educate our students but contribute to the development of the whole community. This project will setup communication links between businesses to create a network for discussion, meetings and improvement.

We are not asking for any commitment beyond your support though we would like to offer you an opportunity to become involved in some of the following activities:

• Termly Oriel Means Business Network Events hosted by Oriel – We will offer three events per year to give you the opportunity to network with other businesses in the area. These will be developed into a key part of the OMB partnership and enable us an opportunity to share the developments and initiatives with you.

• Involvement in the Train to Gain initiative and Adult Education based at Oriel – We have linked with Adult Education and the new Train to Gain initiative to offer you and your employees free training opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.

• Invitation to special events and celebrations at Oriel – We will keep you informed of key dates at Oriel and invite you to events that showcase the students and local community.

We are continually working to secure additional opportunities for the community and will keep you informed of these and other information through newsletters during the year.
