Simon Tansley, Co-ordinator for English Heritage in east Norfolk, has allowed Oriel students a huge amount of time and access to the 3 main sites in Gt. Yarmouth; Greyfriars Cloisters, Row 111 and The Merchant’s House, in order to be able to complete GCSE Photography coursework.
Simon contacted Oriel after seeing an exhibition of the students’ work, on public display at Norwich Cathedral. He wanted Oriel to create an exhibition to mark the 800th anniversary of the Gt. Yarmouth Charter. This we did and the link has strengthened each year.
